About Coastcraft

For more than 60 years, Coastcraft has been a major manufacturer of precision molded rubber parts. During this time, we have continually improved our laboratory, manufacturing facilities, and technical capabilities.

Qualifications

Coastcraft has been primarily serving the aerospace industry since 1954. We also have customers in a variety of other industries such as the medical, instrumentation, and electronics industries. When there is a demand for a high-quality, precisely-made diaphragm, valve poppet or flapper, bonded seal, or other rubber part made to specification and delivered on time, Coastcraft is your source.

We are an approved source for Boeing, Honeywell, Parker Hannifin, U.S. Government, Aero Controlex Group, Eaton, Meggitt Company, and many others. Additionally, we are approved to ship-to-stock with many of our customers. We are actively engaged with our customers in ongoing efforts of continuous improvement.

Our facilities include state-of-the-art injection molding presses, compression and transfer molding presses, rubber mill and Banbury mixers, punch presses, computerized optical inspection equipment, and fully computerized order entry and management system. We also utilize web-enabled EDI with some of our customers.

Laboratory Facility

Complete modern laboratories are geared to the research and development of new elastomer compounds to meet rigid specification or application requirements. We can create compounds from almost any elastomeric material from natural rubber to fluorosilicone or Aflas to Neoprene to EPDM. Quality control is another function of Coastcraft's laboratory. After a batch of rubber is mixed, a sample of it is tested in our laboratory to assure that it meets all the requirements of the applicable specification. Only then is it released for production use.
